With a sampler of colder weather already experienced this year, a dynamic warm-up could help minimise or avoid a running injury for you.
The jury is still out on the benefits of static stretching – holding a muscle in an elongated, fixed position for 30 seconds or more – before you run, however some dynamic stretching should help you be more efficient running.
